It is with a sense of joy and sadness that I write you this post.

First, I am incredibly excited because the eleventh issue of Five to Nine is out now. This issue contains a fantastic group of thirteen designers/artists, a group who have embraced the very concept, the very theme that made this magazine what it is: afterhours.

We have another reason to be excited: "In The Distance..."contains a musical send off. Brock Van Wey, aka bvdub, has contributed a fantastic track to this issue, one that lays down his patented, slow motion blend of IDM, ambient, dub and techno stylings.

However, there is some sadness: Five to Nine is ending. And yet another project is starting. While it may seem odd to cease publication of one PDF magazine only to start another, that is exactly what we are doing.

Titled And I Still Miss You..., we are creating a new PDF magazine that is strictly an art magazine. No themes, no conceptual trappings. Each issue will contain four to five artists (fewer artists, longer spreads), one interview and a healthy dose of beautiful design.
